American Junkie coming to River North

American Junkie, an edgy night  club, which hails out of Scottsdale, Arizona plans to open a second location later this year in River North.  Hoping to stand out in the crowded night scene, the new American Junkie will be a two-story building featuring a retractable roof.

The Scottsdale club offers an upscale but sometimes raucous late-night atmosphere by combining high-decibel music and provocatively dressed waitresses with the Junkie Wheel, “which patrons spin to win free booze, or, if unlucky, a kick out the door,” according to a story in the Arizona Republic newspaper.

The new club will be located at 15 W. Illinois St. More details to come!
